Anndrena Filippi, Wollongong Relay: "The Relay was energising, exciting and a
great way to make friends. A good friend, who was diagnosed with breast cancer,
described the Relay as an 'Anzac Day for cancer'. She was referring to the
camaraderie amongst people as they walk the track - you can talk to anyone about your cancer experience, which you can't always do in everyday life. That makes me feel that the work is worthwhile'. |
